Part 4 of the Beginning Woodworker takes us to the place where woodworking prizes can be won, the third Sawdust Chronicles Build Challenge. The start date is September 1st ending with a submission date of Oct 31, 2010. David.....been awhile but it was fun, this is a really good challenge and my goal is to show that with the basic of tools nice objects can be made.
I am noticing that woodworkers who have entered have taken some advice and are going after what they want, but are forgetting that they can build what they want and still be original. One fellow is working negative space on a really nice table, but viewing the space as seen before. Really fun to read and see some of the sketch-up designs.
The key will be to get as many through the process as we can.
